During my first 8 years at SFSU I ran a research lab that investigated peptide neurotransmitters in the marine snail, Aplysia. During the next 12 years I taught at all levels GE, lower-division, upper-division, graduate within the Biology curriculum, specializing in Cellular Neuroscience Bio Since summer,I have shifted my focus to running three different programs that help SFSU students gain entry to health profession schools. Lastly, I direct the Summer Science Institute, a year program that provides academic support and exposure to health profession careers to as many as 24 SFSU socioeconomically disadvantaged undergraduates.

Applicants are required to list every class taken at a post-secondary institution. If a course was repeated, do not enter zero units, even if it appears as zero units on your transcript.
Enter the original number of units attempted and mark the course as repeated. Failure to properly complete the transcript entry section may disqualify applicants from consideration. In the "Supporting Information" section, please list up to six 6 relevant experiences.
These may include employment, clinical experiences, community volunteer experiences, and research experience.
The "Program Materials" section contains specific questions for our programs. In the "Documents" tab, upload copies of transcripts from every college or university attended, including study abroad coursework and community college coursework, even if transfer credit appears on your degree transcript.
You may upload unoffical transcripts to the documents section. Do not upload photographs of transcripts, or web views of your course history; they will be rejected by the review process.
Only upon admission will applicants be required to have official transcripts sent directly to the Graduate Studies office.
