One of my favorite classical pieces is Lajwanti by Ali Akbar Khan. It is a rare raga — probably created by the Ustad himself. I have deliberately refrained from finding out more about it, as it might interefere with the pure instinctive pleasure I derive from listening to it without being distracted by technical details.
